On 5th January, 2010, Google launched its Nexus One phone, & those who are interested in knowing the prices for Google Phone:
The price decided for the phone is kept around 600-750USD & have approximately 30K-33K in India.

The phone is currently available in the UK, Hong Kong and Singapore, apart from the US. Indian consumers may have to wait longer to be able to buy Nexus One.
At $529, (Rs 24,330), the smartphone is cheaper than the Apple’s iPhone available at Rs 30,000. The iPhone 3G though not available as yet, will cost upwards of Rs 40,000, when its US price is converted in Indian rupees. “We hope to allow people in other countries to purchase the Nexus One and future phones from Google soon,” the Google spokesperson added. What’s the difference between BitTorrent, Limewire and Kazaa?
First off, you are aware that a significant percentage of the content you’d get from any peer to peer network is probably illegal, right? Downloaders who are involved with these various systems are also right in the crosshairs of the Recording Industry Association of America and the Motion Picture Association of America. By percentage, of course, the chances of you getting busted is essentially nil, but “essentially nil” isn’t “zero”, so beware and go in with your eyes open. (more…)

iTunes Music Store, or Limewire, which is better?
Great question. Limewire isn’t illegal, but the peer to peer networks that you then access and get content from, well, that content is just about always illegal. Think about it: if you were a music studio or musician who just produced a music CD, would you want one person to buy it, “rip” it, upload the music onto a server and make the material available for free download? Technically the act of using Limewire/Kazaa/Morpheus or any other P2P file sharing system IS PERFECTLY LEGAL. However, the act of sharing copyrighted music is what the authorities will prosecute for, as you are allowing other users to download something which they should pay for, for free. (more…)
