Bangalore, Apr 30: Sources have informed that Karnataka State Secondary Education Examination Board has decided to announce the SSLC examination results on May 2 and no decision has as yet been taken about the publication of this result over internet the previous day.
A total of 8,58,391 students from the state had appeared for the SSLC examination held from March 30 to April 6 and speedy valuation of the papers had been taken up in view of the election.
Sources in pre university education department have said that the PUC results are expected to be published either on May 11 or the next day, as both the valuation and tabulation work have been almost completed. As traditionally the PUC results are published after the CET examination, the results will be announced in the second week of May.
Combined Entrance Test is being held on May 6 and 7. The date of publication of PU results has not been finalized, the sources said.
