Bangalore: The Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) Board has rescheduled the Geography 2 examination from March 25 to April 2 for Bangalore region, following confusion over opening of paper bundle.
Rumour mills were abuzz with the news that the Geography 2 paper was leaked on Monday __ two days before the exam date.
However, Gerry Arathoon, officiating cheif executive and secretary, ICSE, dismissed the rumours saying the paper was not leaked. “During the History & Civics 1 paper on March 23, the Geography 2 paper was accidentally opened instead. Just to be sure, we’ve rescheduled the paper to April 2,” he said.
The ICSE officials in Bangalore confirmed that the paper has been rescheduled only for Bangalore region.
