Lekhpals for salary as per 6th pay commission

VARANASI: The lekhpals associated with Uttar Pradesh Lekhpal Sangh staged a dharna at the district headquarters in support of their demands on Tuesday.

Their main demand included salary structure as per the recommendation of the 6th pay commission, promotion to the post of revenue inspector and residential facility.

The agitating employees warned that they would boycott their work and stage demonstration in front of Vidhan Sabha in Lucknow on February 24, if their demands were not considered.
