Bangalore: Seeking to rectify several anomalies, the South Western Railway (SWR) Mazdoor Union-Hubli organized an open session on Tuesday in association with the All-India Railwaymen’s Federation.

The members’ demands include setting up of 6th Central Pay Commission Anomaly Committee, employment to wards of railwaymen on their superannuation, grade pay of Rs 2,800 for Tech II and Rs 4,200 for Tech I employees on par with other categories in the 6th Pay Commission scales, grade pay of Rs 4,600 for senior technicians and grade pay of Rs 5,400 for technical services.
