The industry and trade unions have supported the government proposal to raise the tax exemption limit for gratuity funds to
Rs 10 lakh from the present Rs 3.5 lakh for both government and private sector employees.
The Federation for Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (Ficci), for instance, wants it to be implemented as early as
