TUESDAY, June 10, (News Locale) – Finnish mobile giant Nokia has announced the introduction of N78 – the latest phone in its stylish N series in India. The Nokia Nseries N78 is expected to retail for Rs 19,999 in the country.
The N78 continues the tradition of the N series focusing on techno geeks. The new device claims to offer multiple experiences with the integration of features like FM radio, MP3 player and GPS system.
One of the distinguishing features of the N78 is its “Location Tagger” application. This app is most useful allowing users to tag location data to pictures automatically. Users can save their pictures with dates and geographical co-ordinates tagged to them.
Touted as the slimmest of Nseries devices, the N78 boasts of a 2.4-inches screen, a 3.2 mega pixels camera with Carl Zeiss optics as well as high-speed connectivity via WLAN and HSPDA 3.5G. Nokia Maps feature is also available with data from 8 cities preloaded into it.
Nokia Original Accessories like Nokia Stereo Headset WH-600 and the Nokia Bluetooth Speakers MD-7W are also available with the N78.
Additional features include Weatherbug and RSS feed enabled by Web Runtime technology. The Nokia N78 includes standard speakers plus 3.5mm headphones and supports microSD cards up to 8GB.
While the camera resolution is less than that of N95 or N82 which have a 5 mega pixel camera; consumers are bound to welcome the N78 if only for its lower price tag.
