Pune, May 26 K Chandrika (name changed), a student of class 10 in a Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) syllabus school will consider herself lucky if she can procure all her textbooks by September-October. Because going by record in the past few years that is when she is likely to get these textbooks.
“Sure, some download it from the internet and others have them photocopied – both hugely costly options. But unfortunately my parents can’t afford either,” she said, adding, “Generally, for almost five months- half the academic year – we don’t get the books and have to rely on the notes given in the classes.” (more…)

Mobile phone users with prepaid connectivity option often face the problem of insufficient prepaid balance, because of which they sometimes cannot carry out important conversations. Also, at times people get so engaged in their conversation that they don’t realize when their prepaid balance gets over; this often tends to happen when there’s no recharge shop nearby, or it’s the middle of the night. CBSE results today
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 10 results will be announced on May 27 at 5 pm in Chennai region. In Allahabad, Ajmer, Delhi, Guwahati and Panchkula regions, the results will be announced on May 29 at 8 am. BSNL is providing CBSE Class 10 exam results through Integrated Voice Response System for its landline and mobile subscribers. Callers from Bangalore/outside Bangalore can get the results by dialling 1255532. (more…)
