It looks like troubled singer Britney Spears is back in shape.

The mum of two showed off her toned body as she was spotted dancing in her garden in a bikini.

Apparently, a strict regimen seems to have done the trick, when the singer is gearing up to perform her new single Gimme More.

Carrie Underwood, Beyonce, Elton John among performers

NEW YORK - Carrie Underwood, Beyonce and Elton John will be among the performers at the first-ever Movies Rock concert celebrating the relationship between music and film.

The event will be held Dec. 2 at the Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles, and will air Dec. 7 in a two-hour special on CBS. The concert is a production of Conde Nast Media Group in conjunction with the Producers Guild of America and the Entertainment Industry Foundation.

Broccoli

According to scientists, broccoli contains a chemical called sulphoraphane, which activates cancer-fighting enzymes inside cells.  Researchers say the richest source of sulphoraphane is contained in sprouts.

In a demonstration of the plant’s anti-cancer properties, investigators smeared broccoli sprout extract on the skin of six volunteers for three days, and then exposed them to high doses of ultraviolet radiation, which is the leading cause of skin cancer. 

They found there was an average 37 percent less redness and sunburn in the patches covered by broccoli extract.  Redness and sunburn are an indication of skin damage that could lead to cancer.

TAIPEI (Reuters) - Yahoo Inc expects to announce a series of partnerships with mobile carriers in Asia in coming weeks, as it looks to its mobile services division for growth.

The U.S. Internet giant has been in talks with operators in Taiwan, South Korea, Hong Kong and Malaysia — countries that boast some of the region’s highest mobile penetration rates — for new tie-ups for its mobile services, President Susan Decker said at an event in Taipei.

“We will have a number of announcements in the months ahead, even days and weeks,” Decker said at a news conference during a trip to Asia.

Microsoft India today announced that it will make available Xbox Live by November 5 with exclusive local content.

Users will be able to play casual, fast-paced arcade action, new game content or multiplayer frag-fests and also see trailers of Bollywood films starting with Hanuman Returns.

Microsoft has tied-up with UTV, which ensures that users will have access to other already released but popular Bollywood content of UTV Films.

NEW DELHI: The National junior football championship will be played at Gurgaon and Faridabad from November 14 to 30.

Within a week of the global launch, Microsoft has announced availability of its Unified Communications (UC) software in India. The company claims UC will greatly streamline workplace communication, and reduce the cost of the average corporate VoIP system.

The new Unified Communications (UC) and VoIP software comprises: Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007, Microsoft Office Communicator, Microsoft Office Live Meeting, and the Service Pack Update of Microsoft Exchange Server 2007.
