The life of Kurt Cobain is to be turned into a movie.
Universal Pictures has bought the rights to his biography Heavier Than Heaven, reports Variety.com.
Writer Charles Cross had access to the Nirvana frontman’s unpublished diaries while writing the book.
The script is being worken on by David Benioff, who also wrote The Kite Runner and the X-Men spin-off film Wolverine.
