Mumbai: Cinema operator Inox Leisure Ltd on Monday reported a 19 per cent growth in net profit for the quarter to September on an increase in footfalls and by adding more screens, the company said in a release.
During the quarter, the company opened three new properties. “These figures are reflective of our aggressive national roll out,” Deepak Asher, Director, said.
Net profit for the quarter stood at Rs 8.3 crore. Net sales grew 39 per cent to Rs 54.17 crore.
During the quarter, the company operated 20 properties and 69 screens, compared with 12 properties and 44 screens a year ago.
The results also included the numbers of Calcutta Cine Pvt Ltd, which was amalgamated during the quarter.
